Kenny Basnett
Lead Pastor
Kenny helped start Mountain Heights Church in Morgantown, WV with a team of people during the summer of 2019. He was previously a staff pastor at Brookfield Church in Athens, OH for seven years. His responsibilities include the overall vision, teaching, overseeing of staff, and leader development. Before becoming a pastor, Kenny studied geology and worked in the oil, gas, and coal industries. He and his wife Amy have three children.
Michael Fellers
Staff Pastor
Michael leads our Wednesday Discipleship Community. He coordinates many of our volunteer service teams, plans special events, handles Sunday morning operations, and leads a small group. He enjoys running, reading, personal finance, and cooking with his wife Lauren.
Lucas Bond
Non Staff Overseer
Lucas is a non-staff overseer and serves on our board, which includes responsibilities for long-term vision and planning, decision making, and staff accountability. Lucas enjoys all things West Virginia outdoors as well as eating at local restaurants with his wife Aimee and their daughter, Caroline.
Bryant Noble
Worship Leader
Bryant leads the church in worship. He is also responsible for facilities and grounds maintenance, and leads a small group. He enjoys rock climbing, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Jamie, and their two kids.
Liz Churchwell
Kids Church Director
As our Kids Church Director, Liz is in charge of Mountain Heights Kids: our ministry for children from nursery age through the fifth grade. She is responsible for making sure our Sunday morning Kids Church is fun, impactful, and safe. Liz has a bachelors degree in Education, and worked as an Elementary school teacher for over 5 years. Liz and her husband Stanley recently welcomed their first child, Adam.
Jackie Briski
Bookkeeper
Jackie is our volunteer bookkeeper/accountant. Her responsibilities include organizing the church finances, budgets, and bank accounts. She enjoys playing disc golf, collecting maps, and likes coffee so much that she has a subscription to Fresh Cup magazine.
Becca Perdue
Graphic Designer
Becca is our volunteer graphic designer. She oversees all of our graphics and visual materials. She also maintains our website and social media accounts. Becca is the lead graphic designer at Morgantown Blueprint in Westover. In her free time, she enjoys reading any book she can get her hands on, doing puzzles, and trying out local coffee shops with her husband, Austin.
